Dental extractions & cleaning

Just as in humans, oral hygiene is very important for your pet. Regular dental descale and polishing can help reduce the incidence of dental disease in your pet. Routine dental cleaning involves removal of any dental tartar, cleaning of all teeth and polishing of same.

If any teeth are decayed, damaged or lose they will need to be removed. All dental procedures are carried out under general anaesthesia.

For more information on pet oral health please see our information sheet on dental disease.
